Ganesh it feels good!

I need to document this or it's not real, ha!

I'm in crazy study mode but while sitting here I thought right, I'm going to do it. I'm going to do headstand unassisted. And I did. Albeit against the wall but now I can get my legs all the way up by myself. I'm pretty damn chuffed with myself. Ganesh it feels good. Finally, something inside this crazy head of mine has unlocked the magic. I'm surrounded by wonderful teachers such as Sarah Trestrail from Samadhi Yoga and Nikki Elwin from Dancing Warrior Yoga who guide me so patiently each week and other beautiful, fabulous yogis like Ally, Celest, Jo, Keith, Patty, Sarah, Troy...even my wonderful parents who are not yogis but have faith in me! The list goes on. These guys continually inspire me and help me believe that I can do anything. And I can, if only I really try...and let go of the fear.

Believe. Anything and everything is possible.

This is awesome! Well done you!

Inversions are really hard, not physically, but because most people just cannot let go of the fear.

I still use a wall for headstands because I am so wonky and have a tendency to slooooowwwly slide sideways!!
