Okay, so this started off as a joke but September has been the month of many celebrations and with that goes lots of bad eating and drinking.
It's starting to get a lot warmer down here so if I'm thinking of going anywhere near a beach this summer, it comes down to Operation Hot Stuff. I can't do a detox every time I want to loose a few kilos because the one I do is expensive. Operation Hot Stuff is the next best thing and I like the sarky humour attached to it.
I gotta have fun with it and when I say a couple of kilos, I literally mean only a couple. I've been eating a lot of crap lately and it just makes me feel run down and bloated. I want to feel energised and slinky again from the good eating habits I seem to have misplaced.
I've also picked up a caffeine habit, everyday. Even if it's bad coffee. The horror!
So for the month of October, it's Operation Hot Stuff. What does this mean?
- track my food/exercise on Calorie King every day
- buy fresh fruit/veg beginning of every week
- drink 2L water every day (not coke!)
- take my lunch to work (no food from dodgy commissary)
- no caffeine ie. coffee and coke
- no chocolate, cake or biscuits
- no takeaway, especially pizza and burgers
Don't you just love the catch 22 of when you eat junk food? If you simply don't eat it, you don't crave it but as soon as you take that bite (in my case it's pizza and coke), you're hooked.
With exercise, I'm doing well on that front so I'll just keep doing what I've been doing. Feel free to take on the Operation Hot Stuff tag yourself and make up your own rules!
