Doing yoga everyday really sets my mood and makes me feel like I can do and deal with anything. It's been a relatively good week but we've had to deal with some serious issues on a personal front. We had to do whatever it took to make the situation better and not be selfish. I had to stop trying to make sense of everything also because sometimes there just is no answer. Pretty vague huh!
In other news, I met the lovely Crankybee for brekky after yoga this morning. Gorgeous girl and I love blogging for the pure fact that I have now met some of the most amazing women.
After brekky, it was time to buy a bike. I've been buzzing since we came back from Dubbo and the bike I bought before was too big for me. It's a cheapy but good for someone like me who isn't going to ride everyday. I'm looking forward to some hardcore rides on the weekends. It's a 20" Norco Mountaineer 2007 model. Mucho happy and my man bought it as a gift for me. Now that messes with my independence but thank you big time!Alrighty, I'm off again to enjoy the weekend.
HAPPY MARDI GRAS wonderful boys and girls in Sydney! Not only is it a gorgeous day but it looks to stay that way for the parade too. Cheers to sexual freedom, tolerance and being kind to each other no matter who you fuck, what you do, what you believe or where you come from. Humanity, it's a beautiful thing when we're not judging each other and killing each other because of our differences.

Nice bike :)
I don't think it's unfeminist to graciously accept a gift. So long as you aren't one of those chicks who demand diamonds and stuff.
whoaI love that photo of you, M and CKK! You all look like you had a blast that night. The breaky sounds good too. You sound really happy :D.
Yay for the bike too! I'm considering dragging my bike out to Olympic Park and riding it around some of the tracks there. Just need to find a weekend day where I'm completely free, that sure is difficult at times!
I'm kind of in and out of blogland at the moment. Just nothing really to write about and I feel like a broken record, though I'll probably post something tonight while I'm data-entering.
I have no idea why I wrote "whoa" at the beginning of the post :).
no way! its my dad's birthday today too. The big six-o for him.
great pic mary. you would think you guys were long lost school buddies - you all seem so comfortable with each other.
have a great weekend and happy mardi gras!
namaste :)
Nice wheels! You'll have to cycle over to my place so I can pump your system full of caffine and dairy, hehe.
I really like that photo of us too. I need to work on my silly faces, all I ever do is just smile hard so I look like a raving idiot (as probably evident in all your photos of moi). Next time I'll have some newies, just for you (don't say I never do anything for you).
Have fun with your new bike Mary. I love that photo.
Happy Birthday to your Mum.
Great that you have a new bike. I am sure you do nice things for Dan too and he appreciates you.
Love the photo of you, M and CKK. You all look gorgeous and happy.
Fantastic picture!!
I was planning on going to Mardi Gras with CKK and Crankybee today but instead have to watch it on the tv.
Here's to tolerance!
Happy Mardi GRAS!!!
hot gals! have fun biking & doing your march yoga challenge!!
I might buy a bike one day, I don't think I would use it right now, it would probably just gather dust with the treadmill and the exercise bike in the shed. D'oh!
Hope you're having a great weekend.
Bri
just checking in.
I actually followed you over here today via kateypie.
Just wanted to send you a hug really
((((((((((((MARY))))))))))))))))
Hope life shows you some sunshine beautiful ;)

Great post sweet!
Sometimes all we can do is just work through life's little situations - there is no rhyme or reason - sometimes it is what it is!
That bike looks like it goes really really fast:P
Love the new bike:)
Looks like you have been busy catching up with bloggers:)
A bike - how cool!
I've been meaning to write and say how totally impressed I am with you dedication to yogo and all things healthy. Your detox posts were v. interesting too.
You go.
"dedication to yogo"???
I meant "yoga"...
Love the bike! Is it just me, or has cycling made a resurgence of late?! I've been getting back into too, in a big way.
I loved your words on the Mardi Gras. The cruelty of intolerance has deprived the world of so much. But meeting people like yourself reminds me that there is so much good in the world too :)
Will talk to you sometime this week!
xxoxoxoxo
That is a great photo but I love the quote in blue the best. You are a special lady Miss Mary and I really enjoy the metamorphis that you have gone through since I first began reading. I wish I did Yoga as it sounds just what I need at the moment.
