A slice of light rye toast with light peanut butter is my absolute power food. Great for an afternoon pick me up. I never used to like peanut butter as a child but my tastes are evolving.I also like to add chilli to most of my dishes now as well, when once I would have spat it out and followed it with copious amounts of water. Mmm, chilli and peanut butter together though? Maybe not.

Another favourite and very special rare treat of mine is Green & Black's Organic Maya Gold.
"...a dark chocolate with a refreshing twist of orange that is perfectly balanced by the warmth of cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of vanilla."
I buy Green & Black's from Oxfam but you can find it at other outlets such as David Jones. Delish and decadent when having only a few pieces at any one time. Buy the single serve pack!

I might have to give that a try - I haven't eaten peanut butter since I was a kid and we used to eat it by the spoonful and make our tongue stick to the roof of our mouth !!!
The chocolate looks delicious - maybe I won't buy any - it would be hard for me to ration myself !!!
HAve a great week !

Points wise, how friendly is that chocolate!?
Peanut butter was my obsession once. Piece of thick toast topped with heaps of butter and THEN peanut butter (full fat of course), I use to love to watch the oil LOL gross I want to vomit.
Peanut Butter and Chilli, I feel another muffin comming on!? Maybe even a cake. I actually think it would taste good!?

I love chilli in almost everything now too!
Chilli and peanut butter sounds too much like a pregnancy craving!
LOL, just as well you said maybe not to that or I may have thought I will be becoming a blogger auntie soon ;)
peanut butter and chilli might work - they go together nicely in satay sauce :)
I used to love peanut butter but then andrew wanted it all the time on his lunch and the smell of it first thing in the morning really put me off.
ohhh the description of that chocolate is incredible, sounds deliciously fragrant!
peanut butter is great, so healthy! im a little weird about it though because back in 'party' days- to put it nicely- i would sit in my dorm room on my bed completely off my rocker with a giant jar of it and eat great scoops of it with my hands. enough to make me choke so hard id almost be sick.
apparently im beyond therapy LOL really though, its great. especially with apples :)
I am keen to try Green and Black's organic White Chocolate!!
Peanut butter, sweet chilli and lettuce in a wrap is one of my little favourites.
I might try it with apple next time, Cat - but just a scrape, not half the bottle ;-)
i love peanut butter on a nice thick piece of wholemeal bread! YUM!!
and dark dark choc - mmmmmmmmm
OMG I am so going to have to find that chocolate and have that as my occasional little treat when the points allow. It sounds absolutely devine! Not a fan of peanut butter unfortunately, but isn't chilli good at raising the metabolism a little? Another good reason to indulge!
sadly we don't get that brand of chocolate but I do buy dark chocolate and almond bars sweetened with cane juice....every day I have 1 or 2 squares.
I agree with the power food...I eat flax bread with peanut butter and it keeps me full for ages and gives a ton of energy.
Yum that chocolate looks delicious!
Hi! Wow congrats on all the weight you lost! I have a lot of respect for you! It's so hard! I just started my own weight loss blog...It's so hard to kick the cravings...that's my biggest problem, I'm a creature of habit...I'm trying to go from 175lbs to 140lbs, and so far I haven't lost anything at all...hehe
You actually should try peanut butter and chilli - think satay - it's a pretty good taste!
Gee Mary I love peanut butter sandwiches and consider it naughty food. I will have to try some lite peanut butter. As for teh chilli, which I cannot eat, have you tried chilli icecream???
I have long been a fan of this chocolate. I found it initially at the Homeopathics clinic but now get my fill at DJ's. Have not seen the single serve packs but me thinks they are a very good idea :D
Hope you have a great weekend planned xx
I have seen that Maya Gold in the shop - is it THAT good?? Looks yummy! My power food at the moment are banana's. I love them - I think it might be a scary pregnancy craving, but I have to have one everyday! That and chocolate milk shakes....
