Gaining Mulla

On the flip side of yesterday's post, I've got to tell you how much cheaper it has been for me to get healthy. Sure I need to buy new clothes now but in the long run, I am saving heaps by not buying junk/processed foods. Vegies are still a lot cheaper than junk and by drinking water, I am not spending copious amounts on soda/caffeine.

AND walking is FREE.

There are lots of pros and cons to losing weight and I think the pros far outweigh the cons by a long shot.

Funny you should mention money today - I was just thinking when I was packing last night about how much money I must have saved now that I am no longer eating all the biscuits and lollies and chocolates that I used to - how come I haven't managed to pay off my mortgage yet ???? Oh yes, because I have been buying smaller clothes !!!!
Take care and have a great weekend !

Yes, I totally agree with you. I actually enjoy packing my lunch to take places too! So often when I used to buy takeaways/junk food I was really disappointed either with the taste, quality or the horrible indigestion afterwards. We are on a winner.

Yep, agree 100% - not only is junk food and takeaways increadibly bad for you, but its totally dead money. Theres much greater satisfaction in spending your money on the healthy stuff!

Its amazing how much we save by not eating junk

Exercise is free, for some reason I find it hard to get into it lately though

You are so right. It is cheaper, and a lot less embarrassing when you don't have 2 - 5 pizza boxes out for recycling every week ;)

Gotto love that free walking :)
