This week has been extremely stressful for me. I didn't meet a deadline for a client after a week extension. It's a really challenging project and I am feeling quite annoyed. I feel like I've been working 24/7 (I have 2 other casual jobs as well) and I've had it. I just can't wait to send the final submission off today, even though it's incomplete. This really kills me.
So how does the food come into this? Some not so healthy decisions. I haven't been eating regular meals and yesterday, I worked at the record store 'til 9pm. When I got home, I scoffed down Dan's left over garlic bread before working on the project again until 2am. I am quite restless now.
But I do have some good news. I am taking the weekend off! I am going to visit my family down on the farm. I haven't seen them for 3 months because of my work commitments so we have some serious catching up to do. We are also celebrating my younger sister's birthday. Mini holiday, here I come!
I am also really sorry that I haven't been able to catch up on everyone's posts daily. There is seriously not enough hours in the day. I hope to find some time over the weekend, otherwise definitely next week.
Have a great weekend everyone!
OMG, Dan just sent me this. Ha! I kind of feel like this today. Drag her around.

That link is hysterical. I wonder what it would look like with my virtual model. She would probably burst the bubbles LOL. As much as I'll miss your comments over the weekend, I think it's great you are getting away. A mini-break may be all that it takes to relieve a bit of the pressure that you've been under. Perhaps there will be some more interesting jobs coming your way soon, that will help kick in your motivation and creativity. It's hard when you get stuck on something that just doesn't grab you.
Garlic bread. Mmmmm. A few bad choices does not put back on 12+kgs of hard fought loss. I am taking stock this weekend too and will be implementing a 'back to basics' regime on myself. Should be interesting.
Have a great time away and we'll catch up when you get back *mwah*
OMG I feel exhausted just watching her, let alone dragging her around!
Have a lovely restful weekend. Forget about work for a couple of days and come back refreshed.
Yep, I can see why you'd feel like her! Don't worry about thinking you're neglecting us - we all know your're busy and you have to put yourself first. I hope you really enjoy your weekend away and come back revitalised.
OMG that is just fascinating. I spent ages moving her around the bubbles! Obviously I don't have a lot to do today.
You so deserve the weekend off too! Have a relaxing weekend and enjoy the peace and serenity the country brings.
Hope your sister has a fantastic birthday

Take it easy on yourself mate and make sure you have some time out - you are working too hard! This weekend sounds like what you need - I really hope you have a lovely and relaxing time!

Have a fantastic holiday, you deserve it!
Boy the things you can make her body do!! That is great you are having a mini break. Make the most of your time with your family and chill! Don't worry about work. Lts of hugs for you so cheer up and come back feeling revitalised.
That's cool. God she gets herself into some positions. Once you get yourself back into a routine you will be fine. Work on that first before putting too much focus on the food part. XX
