Fitness Mags & Holidays

I just bought the new Women's Fitness & Health magazine and it gave me a good laugh. It just so happens that everything they recommend and write about is exactly what WW keeps telling us AND what I'm reading from my fellow bloggers! Nothing new.

I think I finally realised that the information I needed to get healthy and lose weight has always been in my hands but I could never interpret it. The WW program and blogging has definitely helped me do this now.

I've been thinking about my own holiday too and what I would like to do, to coincide with my birthday in September. I am thinking about a Health Retreat like Hopewood...mmm??

Otherwise, Danny and I were thinking of New Zealand or Tasmania because we've never been. I do love going to Melbourne also though, just to get out of Sydney and catch up with friends down there. We'll see. Oh, and we're on a small budget hence no Amsterdam, Prague, Venice....

A health retreat sounds like bliss. It is weird when you relise you've known for a while how to lose weight, but had only thought about it and not done it the same thing happened to me. Your doing so well on your journey keep it up.

by the way your hair looks fantastic i hadn't seen the photo till a few days ago.

Hey miss, I saw you walking this morning - but you were in your 'zone' on the otehr side of the road so I didn't bother you. (It isn't me with the dog by the way, hope you didn't say g'day to a stranger... or that they didn't mind!)

I love Melbourne too, haven't been in a while but I went there for my 'celebration' when I got to goal - needless to say I hung out in the hotel bath. :-)

So many times I have said that I would like to get away and go to a Health Retreat. In the WW magazine they are advertising the big get together at Club Med and I was so tempted. Not so tempting was the price but I think it will be fantastic for those that are going.

What a great idea. There are some great ones in the Blue Mountains and in Qld. Tassie is also on my hit list especially because you can now get the ferry direct from Sydney and stick your car on it. I have often meant to go and visit the trees we bought (what were we thinking LOL)

You'll have a ball just deciding where to go - you lucky thing you :) You can always go to Adelaide. There are plenty of great wineries that make you feel like you are on a health retreat permanently ;)

Woohooo- planning a holiday - the best feeling ever !!! What a decision - health retreat or NZ - went to a health retreat in South Africa and loved every minute of the three days I was there - would love to go for longer. Went to NZ for two weeks last year and loved every minute of it as well - preferred the south island (sorry to those in the north !) We had so many 'chocolate box' moments - every time we drove around the corner there was another sight which would have been beautiful on the top of the a chocolate box ! The south island in winter is stunning - what to choose, what to choose ???? Have fun while you make up your mind. I think that the anticipation is so much a part of the event.
Take care and have a great day !

I would love to travel Tassie. They reckon it's magnificent. A little cold though so I would prefer to do that one in the summer time to escape the Sydney heat wave!! I agree - the central coast sound like a good holiday to me at the moment. LOL !!!

Im thinking about my holidays too, might take a week or two off in March and go to Bali....
Might use it as a weight loss incentive for shannon....

A health retreat will be PURE Bliss! I made good on my new years resolution to do more Yoga and get Healthy by booking in to Swami Sarasvati's Health Retreat. Im begining to feel my age so I cannot wait! ...it wasn't that expensive too.
PS Keep up the good work!
