I walked into an Esprit store yesterday and could once again fit into their Size 14. I had to try on a few different styles in this size, just to make sure that I really was a 14 (they varied) and then I rewarded myself by buying the best looking pair. Unfortunately this means that I am still having trouble buying clothes because of the inconsistent sizing but at least I have much more choice now.

Fantastic Mary! You must be feeling very sleek and proud of yourself. Their size 14 is like a size 12 really. Lots more fun shopping when you are a size 14.

Esprit clothes are crazy sizes. I have several pairs of black trousers from there, one pair is so baggy (size 14) that I just can't wear them anymore. But another size 14 pair I've only just been able to find my way back into! Their shirts are odd too.
I find most clothing chains have weird sizes. What qualifies as a 12 in a women's shop can qualify as a 16 in a shop geared towards late teens/early 20 somethings. I wish the fashion industry could come up with a standard, it's a bit annoying being anywhere between a 12 to a 16!

Size 14 Espirit is unbelievable. Gee Mary you must really be small. What a great achievment. Good fun shopping when you fit into clothes isn't it. You definitely deserve new clothes.
